Play Safe weekend is schedule for games being played over the weekend of the 27th / 28th September. As Brackley are away to Solihull Moors that weekend, we are planning to show case Play Safe in the program notes against Man United U21s on the 16th and again against Sutton Utd the following Saturday 20th Sept.

What is Play Safe:

Play Safe is a year-round campaign that champions the importance of safeguarding in football. It encourages leagues and clubs at every level of the game to play their part in making the game ever safer, fun, and enjoyable for everyone, everywhere, every time.

Small Talk is Bigger Than You Think:

For Play Safe 2025, we’re asking adults in football to give young people a voice. To create open conversations, ask questions, and actively listen to children. When children have space to talk, they feel. safe to share. Small but vital moments build trust in the long run.

Our Aim:

The aim is to promote safeguarding throughout football, starting at Grassroots level to our senior teams up and down the country. Banny is working on having an activity for the Kids at half time and including our mascot, Sammy the Saint, and a surprise visitor from Northampton (not yet confirmed). We have also managed to obtain some Pin Badges and some other items to promote Play Safe. We would like the entire club to support such an important message, this year’s statement:

Either Banny or I can help with any further information.
